Edward Engberg, CPA

Edward Engberg is an Assurance Director in our Hartford, Connecticut office with more than 12 years of experience in public accounting. Ed’s practice focus is in nonprofits and real estate and construction, including office, retail, industrial, and residential entities. He has significant experience with nonprofit and for-profit organizations that receive financing through HUD, the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, and the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development. Alongside his work at Whittlesey, Ed is a member of the firm’s Real Estate niche and Whittlesey’s Strategic Leadership group.

Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Central Connecticut State University. He also pursues continuing professional education in accounting and auditing practices. He is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and CREW CT – The Real Estate Exchange. Ed is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with the State of Connecticut.
